THE Piqo4
The Piqo4 laser is the latest in cutting-edge technology in helping patients resolve unwanted pigmentation, and rejuvenating the skin without the downtime for all skin types. The PiQo4 offers nano and pico technology for both laser skin services, and tattoo removal. You can expect up to 40% less treatments for tattoo removals when using the piqo4. That means less trauma to the skin and faster results!
The PiQo4 is a unique laser that can give patients two benefits, depending on the goals of the treatment: Tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation.
Laser tattoo removal works by breaking up the ink in the skin so that the body can gradually dispose of the ink particles. Some colors have been traditionally harder to remove than others with standard lasers which have only two wavelengths. Unlike the piqo4 which has 4 different wavelengths we are able to treat all colors with tattoos, even the difficult sky blues. Combining both pico and nano technology, PiQo4 breaks up ink much more efficiently and works better on stubborn inks. PiQo4 also treats a larger spot size at once, reducing the length of treatments and penetrating the skin more deeply than others, still being safer for the skin.
When it comes to skin rejuvenation, patients with pigmentation issues can achieve a more even skin tone by using the laser to correct unwanted hyperpigmentation problems. Skin issues liek vascular lesions and acne scarring can be significantly improved.
Candidates:
The PiQo4 is gentle on the skin however, patients with cancerous lesions or those with a history of keloiding are not considered good candidates for these procedures.
Although PiQo4 is the best option on the market, some tattoos, birthmarks, lesions, and other pigmentation issues will respond better to treatment than others, and more treatments may be needed to get desired results.
FAQ:
How many treatments are needed to remove a tattoo?
While most patients see a significant improvement following their first session, many tattoos will need several treatments for satisfactory results. Unfortunately, there are so many deciding factors that go into how easy or difficult it is to remove a tattoo (ink colors, complexity, ink depth, scarring, ect) that it’s impossible to generalize how many treatments an individual may need.
Does it hurt?
While there is some discomfort associated with treatment, most patients find it tolerable, the sessions are typically very short. For those who are more sensitive to pain or nervous about the experience, medical grade numbing cream is applied.
Is the laser FDA approved?
YES! The laser is approved and overall very safe for all patients.
How many treatments are needed for skin rejuvenation?
Like tattoo removal, the exact number of treatments needed will depend on the patient. However, the average patient needs 3-4 treatments with the piqo4 laser in order to see favorable results, some may need more some may need less.
Why is the PiQo4 better than traditional lasers?
The PiQo4 laser uses four wavelengths instead of two, increasing the number of colors that can be treated during tattoo removals. The laser also treats a larger area at a time than other lasers, making the treatments safer, quicker, and easier on the skin.
How far apart should the treatments be spaced apart?
Typically four weeks apart giving the skin time to heal and unwanted pigmentation to break down.
Saline tattoo removal is a natural approach to tattoo removal. It is the least invasive and less painful form of tattoo removal. A saline solution is implanted with a machine over the unfavorable permanent makeup. Requires multiple sessions depending on darkness and density of old tattoo.
